Daddy’s Dyin’ Who’s Got the Will?

Daddys Dyin Who's Got the Will? by EMTC

“Set in a small Texas town in anytime, U.S.A., Daddy’s Dyin’ concerns the reunion of a family gathered to await the imminent death of their patriarch, who has recently suffered a physically as well as mentally disabling stroke. In essence, however, it is not the story of the impending demise of the father or of the drafting of his will, but of a rebirth of the spirit of the family unit. Without becoming ponderous, losing a sense of humor or pandering to timeworn cliches about Texans or Texas drawls, the story shares many elements of a good summer novel: it’s a fast, delicious, easy read with funny moments, tense moments, touching moments, and characters you care about.” -The Hollywood Reporter
“A masterful comedy.”-Variety

“A well written piece of mainstream theatre that’s consistently funny and occasionally touching.”-The Los Angeles Times

“A knockout.”-L.A. Weekly

Death Near Dead Man’s Holler

Death Near Dead Man's Holler Diner Theatre

The western-themed comedy murder mystery “Death Death Near Dead man’s Holler” will be presented at three separate locations across Susquehanna County. So pick out a date or location convenient and join us for a night of laughs, mystery, food and drink!

Written by Lee Mueller, the story takes place in the small town of Meridosa near Dead Man’s Holler, where nothing ever happens, nothing until now. A notorious outlaw Sergio Van Cleef is being kept in the jail for the night until Marshall Tucker can transport him to the train station to catch the 3:10 to Yuma. Mrs Peacock, president of the Ladies Ethics Guild is none too happy about the arrangement, nor is she happy that the new Saloon “entertainer”, Sadie Mae Harlow has not been run out of town. But while Sheriff John Ford keeps watch, the prisoner ends up dead in his cell. No one was around at the time or had access to the the prisoner. With the help of Parson Graham and Doc Watson, the Sheriff must try to solve this case, if only for his own satisfaction.

All shows cost $27 and include dinner and show. Reservations are required for all shows. Seating is limited, so make your reservations today!
